Terms and Conditions for advertising in The Ashley Cross Link, The Broadstone Link, The Corfe Mullen Link and The Upton Link magazines (The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd).
All adverts are accepted by The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd on the understanding that they are copyright free. This includes any images, logos, photos, trade logos, clip art or any other content that is used in the advert. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to acquire any necessary permission for the use of any images, logos, photos, trade logos, clip art or any other content that is used in their advert/editorial/article/any other content.
Any adverts supplied in JPEG, PDF or any other pre-prepared format will be used by The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd as supplied and will be assumed not to require copy approval. These files should be supplied at a minimum of 300dpi. No responsibility can be taken for the print quality of any advert supplied at a lower resolution. These files may be re-sized to fit the appropriate space.
Any advert/editorial/article/design which The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd has created cannot be used in another publication or advertising medium (e.g. website) without the written approval of The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd. A fee will be payable to The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd if an advertiser wishes to re-use an advert/editorial/article/design in this way.
It is the advertiser’s responsibility to check the advert and ensure that it is correct at copy approval stage, in writing/via email including spelling or grammatical errors. No responsibility will be taken by The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd for any errors subsequently identified (i.e., after copy approval). It is the advertiser’s sole responsibility to supply new artwork or advise of or request changes to artwork by the relevant copy deadline. Copy deadline dates can be viewed on the website.
Any logos/images/photos supplied should be a minimum of 300dpi. No responsibility can be taken for the print quality of any image/logo/photo supplied at a lower resolution. Also, as certain colours that you can see on a computer monitor cannot be replicated when using standard printing inks, when selecting colours for your advert/editorial/article/design we recommend using CMYK colour to avoid potential RGB conversion issues. No responsibility can be taken for sub-par results if files supplied have been created in RGB.
The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd reserves the right to refuse/edit advertisements at our discretion.
Payment is in advance and must be received by the copy deadline. Adverts will only be included when payment (or first instalment of payment) has been received.

Advertisers who arrange on going advertising and pay for their advert by standing order are advised that their advert will be printed in the magazine until such time as they notify The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd that they wish to cancel. Standing orders must be set up so that payment is received by The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd by the copy deadline date i.e., prior to printing or as agreed. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to inform The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd if they wish to stop running their advert. Notification of cancellation must be received by the copy deadline date. If the advertiser cancels their standing order without telling The Link Magazines Dorset Ltd and the advert is published, the advertiser will be invoiced separately for the advertising cost.
